If you had to fight in an urban area what two guns would you chose and what 2 melee weapons and why?
Close quarters. I'm talking within 150 yards or less. Would you go with an "assault rifle" what kind and why? Would you go with a shotgun what kind and why? Handgun, revolver, same question. Bolt action rifle, same question.
I would go for a 12ga pump and ak47 since range wouldn't really be an issue unless I'm sniping then I'd go for my trusty mosin.
For melee what would you go with? I personally would go with my ka-bar and two handed machete.
Now these have to be firearms one can attain legally right now. I would love to get an aa12 but thats an impossibly at the moment.
Oh, and my shotgun of choice would be a mossberg 590A1.

I would carry a suppressed AR-15 in M4 carbine version with 100gr Extreme Shock subsonic rounds using a Sound Technologies suppressor. Lightweight rifle, silent, and the ES bullet has plenty of stopping power in tactical close quarters you mention. Side arm would be Springfield Armory Service Model XD in 45acp - holds 14rds, 45acp has better stopping power, cock-n-lock indicator and round in chamber indicator. Melee - Benchmade Emerson blade CQC auto knife - one honking switchblade that can punch through a truck body. Other melee would be a Petzi Quark Ice Axe - high tech material, lightweight, strong and multipurpose. Your machete would be no match for the Quark. (you use what you know)
If you had a choice of two guns and two hand to hand weapons for use in the zombie outbreak what would they be?
I would have a tanker M1 Garand, a Colt .45 1911 pistol, a Crowbar, and a Machete.
Not familiar with specific weapon names, but if I had the choice of any weapon, I would first of all want a silenced sniper rifle, and a silenced pistol with as many bullets as possible (and ample reloads for all of them). Hand to hand weapons: A sword that can easily be handled by someone who knows nothing about about handling swords (that's me), and a knife (which can also be used for other things).

M1 garand is slow and pings after like 8 shots, might aswell just get yourself a fully auto like an AK, those types of guns would be useless in that type of situation with a zombie horde :P
Also, crowbar and a machete are not hand to hand weapons, there's no such thing as a hand-to-hand weapon.
